The Hike to Dead Horse Gap
The hike to Dead Horse Gap is a circuit from the Kosciuszko Express top station back to Thredbo. We did this walk at the end of May 2022, and it was the last chance that season with a big snow dump the following day. The hike is a little challenging, but is rewarding with many interesting rock features.
Most of my edit of this image was done in Lightroom Classic, which is where I do more than 90% of my editing, but I also applied a little edit from Radiant Photo, which I learnt about in Photographing the World 5 Japan by Elia Locardi. Radiant Photo seems to do a great job of putting a bit of pop into the image, and I will be playing around a little more with it.
